Empty, defrost, and dry the interior 24 hours before the move. Disconnect ice makers and water lines.

Disconnect hoses and drain lines. Washer transit bolts should be reinstalled when possible.

Gas disconnection is usually handled by a licensed professional. Confirm with your utility company.
